The Xerox Phaser/ Okidata 1882 error is indicating a problem with the 2nd bias transfer
roll assembly. There are a few things that can cause this. First I would
pull it out and look at it. Slide the fuser tray out of the left side
of the printer. If it wont come out all the way you may have to open the
paper tray and remove the phillips screw on the left side. Look inside
the cavity where you pulled the fuser tray and you'll see a belt
cleaner. It's black and has a clear myler strip on it. To remove this
pull on the aluminum looking knob on the right side of the cleaning
blade.
Pull out on the right side first then the left side slides to the
right first then pulls out. The 2nd bias assy is the big black thing
under the accumulator belt, as you look in the cavity it sits on the
floor. It slides out. Make sure the printer is unplugged, grab it at
each end and pull it, sometimes you have to wiggle it. It's full of
toner so be carefull. Empty the toner in a trash bag and if you have any
compressed air try cleaning it with that. Wipe off the contacts with a
dry paper towell then put it back together. When you get a paper jam
where exactly does it jam and what is the error message.
