I sell Savin products because they are quality goods. Most people haven’t heard of them, but when they use the devices for a while they don’t try anything else. The Savin 8016 is a classic as far as the range goes. It is a mono laser printer, scanner, copier and fax all in one.
It’s aimed squarely at the small business with a modest demand each month. The standard 600 dpi printing is of excellent quality, and the fact that you can have them at 21 pages per minute just adds to the benefits of owning one of these.
Print quality is great, both for images and text. The print engine is very accurate in converting color to grayscale without banding or bleeding. You could print a brochure, photograph, poster, or whatever with the Savin 8016 and never worry about the print quality.
We generally install these for clients, but if you wanted to do it yourself it’s easy. Out of the packaging it’s just a matter of installing the toner, connecting it up and installing drivers. Connection can be via USB, parallel, network, wireless or even Bluetooth. This offers a lot of freedom for any office. If you choose the wireless or Bluetooth options, they take a couple of extra minutes to configure, but won’t offer any problems to set up.
All of the functions can be accessed from in front of the machine or over the network if you have it connected. It comes with a friendly web interface that allows you to control access to facilities, keep an eye on paper and toner levels and all the other maintenance tasks a busy office has to contend with.
If it’s networked the Savin 8016 can fax and scan over the network, print, broadcast incoming faxes to desktops and all the other features you would expect from an industry leader.
Ease of use is continued with the simple control panel, very readable LCD screen and many automatic functions, that take the admin out of administration. The automatic duplex printer also allows either money saving or further features by being able to print or copy double sided.
The Savin 8016 is an excellent choice for any discerning business in the market for a multifunction. They are popular because they are good, no more needs to be said I think.
